MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — From the funeral for fallen firefighter to a major event expected at Apple Wednesday, here are the four stories to know for Wednesday, Sept. 9.

Firefighters from across the Twin Cities will honor its fallen brother Wednesday.

St. Paul firefighter and paramedic Shane Clifton, 39, died of a heart attack while on the job last week.

His funeral and visitation are Wednesday at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church.

A memorial fund has been set up for his two children.

Apple Event

Apple is likely set to unveil new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus models Wednesday.

And for selfie-fanatics, the phones are expected to have even better photography and flash capabilities — with a 12-megapixel image sensor.

It will also shoot higher-resolution 4K video.

Chipotle’s Massive Hiring

You may see long lines at Chipotle Wednesday — not for burritos, but for jobs.

The chain restaurant announced its first-ever National Career Day… with the goal of hiring 4,000 new employees.

Management teams at each location will hold open interviews from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday.
