2 Construction Projects To Affect Traffic In Downtown Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A few construction projects are expected to have an impact on traffic patterns in downtown Minneapolis.
City officials said that the two projects beginning on Monday would lead to closures on Portland and Park Avenues.
The Portland Avenue closure would be between 4th and 5th Streets, lasting until Friday, Oct. 2. Crews are going to be removing a pedestrian tunnel beneath Portland.
The other project will be for utility work along Park Avenue. The stretch between 3rd and 4th Streets will be closed until this Saturday.
