Man Pleads Guilty To Killing Girlfriend's Baby Girl
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Maplewood man has pleaded guilty to fatally beating his girlfriend's daughter.
Leb Meak, 35, admitted in court Tuesday that he punched, squeezed and threw the 18-month-old girl.
It happened at his home in February.
Meak had been babysitting the girl while her mother was at work in Burnsville.
The Ramsey County Attorney's Office is asking for Meak to receive a higher sentence because the toddler had been beaten over a long period.
