9-Year-Old Girl Given CPR, Hospitalized After Near-Drowning Incident

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) -- A 9-year-old girl is hospitalized Saturday night after a near-drowning incident at the Ramada hotel in Bloomington.

It happened around 9:00 p.m. According to The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, the girl was underwater for two minutes before she was pulled up and given CPR.

She was conscious and breathing when she was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.

Mike Hartley, the deputy police chief with the Bloomington Police Department, says the girl is listed as in critical but stable condition as of Sunday morning.
