Woman Shot By Robbinsdale Officer Pleads Guilty To Knife Incident, Gets Probation
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An 18-year-old Robbinsdale woman pleaded guilty -- just as jury selection was about to begin – to a knife incident that ended with her being shot and wounded by a police officer in mid-April.
On Tuesday, the Hennepin County Attorney's Office announced that Tania Harris pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and will be placed on probation with 21 months in prison to serve if she violates the conditions of her probation.
On April 16, police were called to an apartment building on the 3700 block of Hubbard Avenue North at about 5:40 p.m. on a call about an unwanted person.

When officers arrived, Harris burst out of the door with a large knife in her hand, the criminal complaint says, and was heard screaming, "I'm going to kill you, b****!" while chasing a young woman.
They say asked Harris to drop her weapon and when she refused, she was shot twice in the stomach.
When Harris made her guilty plea Monday, she admitted to key facts in the criminal complaint.
