Amazing Save From Lakeville South Volleyball Gains Attention On Twitter
LAKEVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) -- An amazing, double-kick save from a local volleyball team is causing a big stir online.
Lakeville South is hoping to get video of the play on ESPN Sportscenter's popular "Top 10" segment. The team tweeted a clip of the play Thursday night, and it's already been retweeted thousands of times:
In the clip, Lakeville South players make two, rapid-fire kick saves before bumping it over the net, where it lands behind Apple Valley players during a premature celebration, and thunderous cheering erupts from the crowd.
Lakeville South ultimately won Thursday's game against Apple Valley 3-1.
