Charges: Man, 42, Threatens, Chases Coworker With Pitchfork

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Florida man has been arrested in Stearns County for chasing another man with a pitchfork, threatening to kill him.

Luis Dominguez, 42, was arrested for second degree assault and making terroristic threats.

According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, at 5:36 p.m. on Sept. 25 deputies responded to a call of a dispute between two field workers on a farm located near the intersection of County Road 69 and 205th Street in Crow River Township.

The report stated that one field worker, later identified as Dominguez, had threatened another worker with a pitchfork, but the two had been separated.

Upon arrival, police found that Dominguez had argued with a 25-year-old Brooten man while working on the farm. Dominguez became angry with the man, picked up a pitchfork and threatened to kill the other man.

The police report states that Dominguez chased the man with the pitchfork. While running, the man fell into a drainage ditch and Dominguez stabbed the ground next to him with the pitchfork.

At that time other workers stepped in to separate the two.

Dominguez is being held in Stearns County Jail pending a court appearance.
