MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A troop deployment ceremony brought out lots of people in Willmar Thursday.

The Minnesota Wild were also represented at the Army National Guard event, where more than 150 members of the 682nd Engineer Battalion prepared to leave for Kuwait.

Each soldier received a commemorative hockey puck. The battalion chose the name “Task Force Wild” when they began training.
