Body Of Lake Of The Woods Boater Found, 2 Still Missing

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities recovered the body of a missing boater from a northern Minnesota lake early Friday evening.

The Lake of the Woods County Sheriff's Office says deputies found the body of 22-year-old Justin Haugtvedt, from Baudette, just after 5 p.m.

He was located with the help of side scan sonar in about fourteen feet of water near the southwest area of Oak Island.

Two other boaters, also from Baudette, are still missing: Keith Ayers and Cory Ostendorf. Their boat was found capsized on the lake one week ago.
