Police Investigate Hit-And-Run Death Of St. Paul Woman
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are looking for the driver responsible for running over a woman on a busy St. Paul street before fleeing the scene Tuesday night.
St. Paul resident Antoinette Boxer, 49, was found laying in the westbound lane of University Avenue at about 9:45 p.m.
A good Samaritan was calling 911 when a gray, four-door sedan drove up and ran over Boxer. The car was last seen heading south on Dale Street.
Boxer died at Regions Hospital from her injures the next day. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner is working to determine just how she died.
Anyone with information on why Boxer was in the street before she was run over, or information on the driver, is asked to call police at 651-266-5798.
