Report: Dog The Bounty Hunter To Help In Search Of Missing Minn. Woman

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Reality TV star Dog the Bounty Hunter is reportedly lending his services in a search for a missing northern Minnesota woman.

KVLY-TV in Fargo reports that family members of Rose Downwind say that Dog is going to Bemidji to help find her.

The 31-year-old mother from Redby has been missing since last week. Family members said they last saw her on Oct. 19 at the Target in Bemidji.

Her ex-boyfriend said he saw her on Oct. 21, leaving a home on Stoner Avenue on the city's southeast side.

Downwind is the granddaughter of Dennis Banks, the founder of the American Indian Movement.

The Fargo station says family members told them that Dog the Bounty Hunter, aka Duane Chapman, is helping in the search as a favor to Banks.

Chapman is known for capturing bail fugitives. He was the star of the reality TV show "Dog the Bounty Hunter," which ran for eight seasons on A&E.

He is currently starring in "Dog and Beth: On The Hunt," a CMT show that chronicles Dog's bounty hunting family business.

Details On Downwind

Downwind is described as standing 5-feet, 4-inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has brown hair and a light complexion, and she was last seen wearing a blue sweater and black pants.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Bemidji Police Department at 218-333-9111.
