MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — An Andover man has died from injuries sustained in a suspected drunk-driving crash that killed his wife earlier this month.

A van driven by 71-year-old Richard Lindeen was struck head-on by a pickup truck in Andover on the afternoon of Nov. 4, killing his 73-year-old wife, Ann Lindeen.

Richard and the suspected drunk driver, 26-year-old Jeremy Alan Miller, were both hospitalized.

The condition of Miller, from St. Francis, is unknown. The results of his blood draw, which was taken at the scene via warrant because he was unconscious, have not been released. And formal criminal charges have not yet been announced.

The Minnesota State Patrol and the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office are still investigating the crash.
