Bloomington Police: No Extra MOA Security After Paris Attacks
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) — A Bloomington police official says there are no plans to increase security at the Mall of America following the Paris terrorist attacks.
Deputy Bloomington Police Chief Mike Hartley tells The Associated Press that police already had an increased presence at the nation's busiest shopping center.

Hartley says that's typical, especially around the holidays. He said Saturday there has been no specific threat directed at the mall.
In a statement, the Mall of America says it will continue to monitor events.
The Bloomington megamall attracts some 40 million visitors each year.

In February, a video purportedly made by al-Qaida-linked rebels urged Muslims to attack shopping malls. The video specifically mentioned the Mall of America. Authorities said at the time there was "no credible" evidence suggesting a U.S. mall attack was in the works.
