DALLAS (AP) — John Klingberg scored at 3:18 of overtime, and the Dallas Stars beat the Minnesota Wild 3-2 on Saturday night.

Klingberg got a cross-ice pass from Tyler Seguin and beat Devan Dubnyk for his fourth of the season.

Klingberg and Jamie Benn each had a goal and two assists for the Stars, who had all six shots on goal in overtime.

It was another impressive victory for Dallas (14-4-0) has won eight of 10 and leads the Central Division. Minnesota (10-3-3) had won three in a row.

Dallas twice took one-goal leads, with Jason Spezza and Benn scoring. Goals by Nino Niederreiter in the second period and Marco Scandella in the third tied the game for the Wild.

Dubnyk finished with 33 saves. Dallas’ Kari Lehtonen made 22 stops.

The Stars jumped in front one second after their first power play ended in the first. Klingberg shot from the blue line, and Spezza tipped the puck past Dubnyk for his first goal in 11 games.

The Wild tied it at 5:15 of the second period with a similar goal. Niederreiter tipped in Jared Spurgeon’s drive from the blue line. The Stars challenged the goal because of possible goaltender interference, but the call was upheld.

It remained 1-1 after two periods. Heading into the final regulation period, the shots were almost even — 20 by the Stars, 19 for the Wild.

Benn scored another tip-in goal on the power play at 2:26 of the third. Klingberg sent a slap shot from above the left faceoff circle, and Benn redirected the puck into the left side of the net.

Dallas held Minnesota without a shot on goal in the third period until 7:15, but it was Scandella’s tying wrist shot from the top of the slot.

Dallas outshot Minnesota 10-5 in the third for a 30-24 advantage in regulation.
