Tap Talk: The 12 Beers Of Christmas Are Coming To Red Cow

It may not be as hard to find as a partridge in a pear tree, but lords will be a-leaping this holiday season as Red Cow introduces the 12 Beers of Christmas.

Beginning Dec. 1, Minnesota's acclaimed restaurant will be serving up 12 specialty brews over 24 days.

Every other day a new, hard-to-find keg of beer will be tapped and served at each Red Cow location.

The coveted brews offered include Surly Darkness, Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, Odell Russian Pirate and Oskar Blues Hop Chowda. As for the other eight brews, each location's bar manager will be in charge of finding those.

The final beer will be released on Dec. 23 and will be on tap through Christmas Eve.

In addition to their sudsy celebration, Red Cow will also be hosting its annual Ugly Sweater Party.

On Thursday, Dec. 17 guests are invited to enjoy a night of good food and drink for a good cause.

The evening will benefit Toys for Tots. Each guest that brings an unwrapped toy to donate will receive a free appetizer. Additionally, each guest that wears an ugly sweater will get a free tap beer.

Finally, for those already thinking past Christmas and onto New Year's, Red Cow is introducing it's first-ever New Year's Day brunch.
