Ordway Presents 'The Sound Of Music' For Holiday Season
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It is perhaps one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most beloved shows, "The Sound of Music." This holiday season, audiences can come and see it at the Ordway in St. Paul.
The show tells the story of a young nun who leaves the abbey to be a governess to the von Trapp family.
While she helps the father fall in love with his children again, the two also fall in love. All the while, Nazi politics threaten their lives in Austria.
The story is based on real life events set in 1930's Austria.
"The Sound of Music" is open now through January 2. Tickets cost $39 to $126. For more information, visit the Ordway online.
