Pedestrian Killed In Albert Lea Hit And Run

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One person is dead after a hit and run incident in Albert Lea, according to police.

Officers say it happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening near the intersection of Main Street and Katherine Street. By the time police arrived on scene, the victim was found deceased.

Police say the suspected vehicle is a blue Ford truck with damage on the front, driver's side orange marker light.

The Albert Lea Police Department and Minnesota State Patrol are investigating. Anyone with information should call police at 507-377-5200.
