MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man was fired from a St. Paul company after allegedly sending a racist comment to Black Lives Matter – Minneapolis over Facebook.
According to agricultural processing company Archer Daniels Midland, the former employee, identified as Brad Schultz, sent a message using profanity and the N-word to the group on Christmas Eve.
The company said it investigated the incident and let Schultz go as a result.
ADM released a statement early Tuesday morning stating, "these remarks are unacceptable and do not reflect ADM's values."
