EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Vikings cornerback Captain Munnerlyn has won the Korey Stringer Good Guy Award, for cooperation with the media.

The seventh-year player from Mobile, Alabama, joined the Vikings as an unrestricted free agent in 2014. Munnerlyn was a seventh-round draft choice by the Carolina Panthers in 2009. The Korey Stringer award is named in honor of the late Vikings lineman, who died in 2001.
