MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — When you think of outdoor winter sports, you probably do not think of golf.
But a little cold weather will not stop disc golfers from hitting the links around Minnesota.
Even with the snow on the ground, there are more than a dozen courses around the Twin Cities area for disc golfers.
You can play individually or in teams, and there are leagues for anyone who wants competitive play.
Acorn Park in Roseville is one of several free courses around the Twin Cities. There are leagues all winter long. Click here for more information.
In the video above, Rachel Slavik tried out the course at Acorn to see how temps in the teens and several inches of snow impacts how you play.
