MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Authorities say they’ve pulled a body from Lake of the Isles Monday afternoon.

Authorities said that the body was that of an adult male, and it was pulled from a channel connecting Lake of the Isles to Lake Calhoun.

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and the Minneapolis Fire Department were called to the scene at about 2:30 p.m. after reports that a jacket was found frozen to the ice.

A man’s body was found under the surface shortly thereafter.

The man was not immediately identified. The county medical examiner is working to determine the exact cause of death.
