MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A group of 16 lunch ladies from Buffalo High School narrowly missed Saturday’s $950 million jackpot.

The women say they were inspired to play after a group of lunch ladies from Holdingford won a $95-million jackpot in 2003.
“Everybody was screaming and yelling and crying and everybody was so excited. The group says they will keep playing the lottery and would love to take home Wednesday’s jackpot.
