Community Gathers To Remember Missing Woman, Support Daughter

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A community gathered in Minneapolis on Sunday for a missing mother who police believe has died.

Addie Jensen went missing on Nov. 17, 2015, and has not been heard from since. Jensen's 2-year-old daughter, Chloe, is now without a mother. People came to "The Park" in northeast Minneapolis on Sunday to celebrate Jensen's life and support Chloe's future.

"We really wanted to coordinate something to help Chloe to make sure she was financially set up for the rest of her life. We created this beer bust, it's all craft beer and a silent raffle," Ashley Martin, the event's coordinator, said.

A GoFundMe has been set up for Chloe. They are aiming to raise $50,000 dollars for Chloe's college fund.

Meanwhile, Jensen's ex-boyfriend, Joshua Dow, is being held in jail on probable cause of murder. WCCO cameras were at Dow's house in north Minneapolis as police carried out bags of evidence. Jensen's family continues to plea for answers into what happened.
