Guerilla Girls Twin Cities Takeover Plans Inaugural Art Tour For Friday

ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) — The Rochester Art Center is launching a pilot art bus program this week.

The bus will shuttle guests from Minneapolis and St. Paul to Rochester for the Rochester leg of the Guerrilla Girls Twin Cities Takeover.

The inaugural trip is Friday. A 56-seat coach bus will take guests from the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and the Minnesota Museum of American Art in St. Paul to the RAC for a Guerrilla Girls panel discussion and the opening of an exhibition featuring artist Amanda Curreri.

The round-trip bus fare is $10. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.

The Guerrilla Girls are anonymous activists and artists who disguise themselves in gorilla masks as they campaign against discrimination against women and minority artists.
