Man Convicted In Duluth Woman's Synthetic Drug Death

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An Eveleth man was found guilty Thursday in the overdose death of a 21-year-old woman in 2013.

The St. Louis County Attorney's Office says Bryan Joseph Hodapp, 27, was convicted of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the death of Krystal Wicklund.

The victim, who was from Duluth, died at an Ely hospital from an overdose of a synthetic hallucinogen called 25I-NBOMe on Aug, 20, 2013.
