MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Ryder Cup will be held at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska in September, but golf fans won’t have to wait that long to see one of the most historic trophies in golf.

The trophy will make an appearance on Saturday at the Minnesota Golf Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center from 12 to 4 p.m. It will be on display at the Performance Stage from 2 to 2:30 p.m. as well as other locations at the event throughout the day.

The public is invited to come out, get a glimpse of one of the most prestigious trophies in golf and take pictures. The Ryder Cup is one of the most intense events in golf, putting the top 12 professional golfers in America against the top 12 from Europe in a match-play format.

The event will start on Sept. 27 and go through Oct. 2 at Hazeltine National Golf Club.
