MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It may be winter, but with the forecasted warm temperatures this weekend, we know spring is right around the corner.
So there is no excuse to not get outside and enjoy the great activities that winter has to offer.
Watch as the fastest drivers compete on a grueling 8-mile loop. Racers will face unrelenting terrain including wooded trails, vertical climbs and big air Snocross.
The race begins at 2 p.m. Saturday at ERX Motor Park in Elk River.
Cheer on a sea of fat tire bikers on Lake Minnetonka.
The 15-mile Arctic Fat Bike Race takes place Saturday at 2 p.m. and ends at Excelsior Brewing with live music.
Spring may be just about a month away, but the Minneapolis Lake Home and Cabin Show is coming to the Minneapolis Convention Center this weekend.
The event will feature everything from sporting gear and fishing equipment to cabin furniture, landscaping and information on how to buy or sell a cabin.
Tickets for adults are $12, kids ages 5 to 15 get in for $5.
Minnesotans will pack the Mall of America rotunda Saturday morning with one goal: to raise money and create a world without Type One Diabetes.
The walk begins at 8:30 am.
