St. Paul Cathedral Seeks Donations For Rose Window

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Thousands of people will be in St. Paul this weekend at Red Bull Crashed ice, but you can't see that spectacle without admiring the St. Paul Cathedral.

Officials with the St. Paul Cathedral hope that attention will help with its efforts to restore its rose window. Some of the stained glass panels are close to falling out.

It'll cost about $100,000 to fully restore the window. The Cathedral is hoping to raise some of that money this weekend through small pledges.

To donate $5, you can text "RESTORE" to 91-999. Signs will be up along the course this weekend.
