MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — There are fun things to do both indoors and out this weekend. Whether you’re looking for a good workout, a free concert or a big party in St. Paul we have it all in Workin’ for the Weekend.

Red Bull Crashed Ice – St. Paul

Red Bull Crashed Ice is here! This weekend, 100,000 people will converge on St. Paul to witness high-speed action as skaters race to the bottom of a challenging, long ice track filled with obstacles.

Attendees can party in the street at the Crashed Ice Village on West Seventh Street. The men and women’s shoot-out run is Friday. The top 32 athletes move onto the finals Saturday, when gates open at 4:30 p.m.

Get all the information at the Red Bull Crashed Ice website or Visit Saint Paul’s website.

Skyway Open – Minneapolis

Practice your putt in the Minneapolis skyway system. The 2016 Skyway Open tees off for the 10th year Friday through Sunday. Play through a challenging and innovative miniature golf course, featuring holes designed and built by local architects, designers and contractors.

Tickets range from $31 to $41. Proceeds go towards the Ending Street Homelessness Committee. Get more info on the Skyway Open here.

ALA Fight for Air Climb

Get some exercise like you never have before. Hundreds of Minnesotans and firefighters will see how many times they can climb U.S. Bank Plaza in one hour. That’s 31 floors and the firefighters will climb in full 70 pound gear.

It’s all to fight for an end to lung disease. The American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb takes place Saturday at 7 am.

Symphony and Suds Concert

Finally, sip on some suds and while enjoying the symphony. Friday, join a string quartet from the Minnesota Orchestra at Boom Island Brewing Company for a free Symphony and Suds micro-concert. The event is free and guest will enjoy free samples of Boom Island beer.

The Symphony and Suds concert is part of series that the Orchestra is doing at brewpubs throughout the Twin Cities.  So if you can’t make Friday, the next event will be at Sociable Cider Werks next month.
