MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Marco Rubio, the Republican presidential hopeful who’s recently been backed by his party’s establishment, will be campaigning in Minnesota on Super Tuesday.

The Florida senator’s campaign announced over the weekend that Rubio will be in Andover on Tuesday to speak with Minnesotans ahead of the caucus that night.

Rubio has yet to win a state contest in his push to grab the Republican nomination. Still, several party leaders believe he is the only candidate that’s capable of toppling Donald Trump’s insurgent campaign and then taking the White House in November.

Tuesday’s rally is slated to start at 12:30 p.m. at the Courtyards of Andover Events Center.
