MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Zoo is celebrating a big birthday! The zoo’s three Grizzly bears, Haines, Kenai and Sadie, are turning 10.

On the momentous occasion, the bears will also be going back on display.

The bear exhibit closed last summer after one of the bears repeatedly slammed a rock into the glass surrounding the enclosure, shattering the pane.

The exhibit is now back open to the public. Guests can visit the exhibit during zoo hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The bears were given treats in celebration.

The three bears were rescued as cubs ten years ago from three different areas of Alaska.
