CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — Firefighters have put out a fire at a Cedar Rapids motel where a man reported being stabbed.
Authorities say firetrucks were dispatched to the Motel 6 a little after 1 a.m. Monday after fire crew responding the medical call noticed flames shooting from the motel roof. Guests soon were evacuated, and no injuries from the fire have been reported.
