Kandiyohi Co. Officials Seek Public's Help Locating Suspect In Bank Robbery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials in Kandiyohi County are asking for the public's help locating the suspect in a bank robbery.

According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office, just before noon Thursday officials responded to a report of a bank robbery at the Lake Region Bank in Sunburg.

Upon arrival, officers learned the bank had been robbed at gunpoint and the suspect had made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police said the suspect is an adult male wearing a dark colored coat, camouflage hat and black mask. A suspicious vehicle seen in the same area was described as a dark colored van, possibly blue.
