Image Of Suspect Vehicle In Mpls. Road Rage Shooting Released

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are searching for a man who shot another driver in a case of road rage early Tuesday evening in Minneapolis.

A woman was shot four times after honking at a tan, ivory or gold-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee that had just cut her off on Hennepin Avenue near the Basilica of St. Mary, according to Minneapolis Police.

The victim was shot three times in the arm and once in the abdomen by who she described a man in his 20s with shoulder-length dreadlocks. The suspect vehicle had three occupants total.

Police say the victim is in satisfactory condition and will survive. A Go Fund Me account has been set up for her.

The license plate of the suspect vehicle appears blurred in surveillance photos, but police say they did not alter the image. The suspects may have used a license plate blocker to prevent it from being caught on camera.

Anyone with information on this case is urged to call police at 612-692-8477.
