Family, Friends Seeking Funds For Minneapolis Road Rage Victim

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Family and friends of a woman shot four times in a road rage incident in Minneapolis seeking help for the victim to pay her medical expenses resulting from the incident.

The incident happened at about 5 p.m., during the middle of rush hour, on April 4 on Hennepin Avenue near the construction area by the Basilica of St. Mary. The victim said a Jeep Cherokee cut her off, she honked at the driver and the vehicle then pulled up alongside her and opened fire.

The woman suffered four gunshot wounds, three to her arm and one to her abdomen. All injuries were non-life threatening.

The shooter and the suspect driver were described as being men in their 20s. The shooter had a black handgun and shoulder-length black dreadlocks.
