Sheriff: Body Of Unknown Man Found in St. Louis County

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify the body of a young man discovered Thursday morning in Mt. Iron.

Investigators say the body was found at about 10:45 a.m. in the Mott Pit area of the city, and had likely been there less than 24 hours.

The man appears to be in his early 20s, has brown hair and is between 5-feet-8-inches and 5-feet-eleven-inches tall.

The sheriff's office says this case is being investigated as a homicide. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call them at 218-472-9825
