MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The brutal beating death of a Buffalo teenager has been ruled a homicide.

Cheyenne Clough, 19, was found badly beaten last week in Crow Springs County Park in Wright County. Over the weekend, Clough died.

The Hennepin County medical examiner’s report was released on Monday. In addition to ruling the death a homicide, the medical examiner also determined the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds.

Six people have been arrested in connection with Clough’s beating so far, though none have been formally charged in relation to her death.
