Woman, 20, Killed In Head-On Crash In Mille Lacs County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 20-year-old woman was killed in a head-on crash that closed parts of Highway 23 in Mille Lacs County early Friday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred just west of 135th Avenue on Hwy. 23 just after 3:30 a.m.
The crash involved a Toyota Corolla and a Volvo semi tractor.
The driver of the car, Shanna Dahlen of Milaca, was killed in the crash. The driver of the semi sustained non-life threatening injuries.
It was not immediately reported what may have caused the collision.
Highway 23 was closed for a period Friday morning.
