Fire Damages N. Minneapolis Apartment, Deli
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minneapolis Fire Department is investigating a fire that damaged a deli and apartment in north Minneapolis early Thursday morning.
The fire occurred early Thursday in the 1000 block of West Broadway in north Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Fire Department, it started in the kitchen of a second floor apartment. It spread to the ceiling and the deli downstairs.
Around 6 a.m., crews said the fire was knocked out.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
