MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — This weekend, it’s time to celebrate dads!

Dads, pull out your best lederhosen, GermanFest returns to the Historic Schmidt Brewery this weekend!
Enjoy plenty of wurst, kraut and of course there will be beer.
The fun includes polka music, wiener dog races and a strongman competition.
It’s free to attend.
On Father’s Day, take your favorite guy back to the ‘50s!
This weekend, more than 12,000 street rods, customs, and classics dating 1964 and older will blanket the State Fairgrounds.
The 43rd annual Minnesota Street Rod Association Back to the Fifties weekend takes place Friday through Sunday.
There will be live entertainment, a Kid’s World area and a tractor pull on Saturday.
There will be plenty for dads to do at this year’s Stone Arch Bridge Festival.
There’s the Art of the Car Show, soccer games and an ATV helmet design with Polaris.
You won’t go hungry, there will be tons of food and beer venders.
The three-day festival is free.
This year marks the 150th anniversary of General Mills. As part of the celebration, General Mills will be putting on a fireworks show Friday at the Stone Arch Festival.
Fireworks will be launched around 9:30 pm.
