Minnesota Named No. 1 Best Place To Be A Kid

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Some good news for Minnesota parents: Our state has been named the best state to be a kid.

The 2016 Kids Count Data Book put Minnesota at the top of the list followed by Massachusetts, Iowa, New Hampshire and Connecticut.

The study looked at categories like economic well-being, education, health and family.
