Man Seriously Injured In Head-On Crash Near Pine City

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One person is seriously injured after a head-on crash near Pine City Sunday morning.

Travis J. Graber, 37, of Hinckley, was driving a Chevrolet Impala south on Interstate 35 north of Pine City in a construction zone. The Impala crossed to the northbound lanes and hit a Ford head-on, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

A third vehicle was also involved, but the driver swerved to avoid the collision. That vehicle ended up with minor damage and the driver did not appear to be injured.

Graber was seriously injured. John and Mary Solon, the driver and passenger in the Ford, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
