Jesse Ventura Releases New Book On Outrageous Utterances By Politicians

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- When analysts point to improbable wins in American politics high up on anyone's list is Governor Jesse Ventura's 1998 win in the Minnesota gubernatorial race.

In his years since leaving office, Governor Ventura has written seven books. His latest is called [Expletive] Politicians Say.

It takes equal swipes at current Democrats and Republicans, but features historic gems like Al Gore in 1999 who said "during my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet."

On Sunday, he stopped by WCCO to talk with Esme Murphy about the new book. He has a scheduled book signing for 2 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble in Roseville, and on July 23 at 2 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble in St. Cloud.
