Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car In Scott County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A pedestrian was hit by a car and killed in Scott County Saturday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened on Highway 13 near County Road 21 at around 10 p.m. Travis Peterson, 23, was walking across the road in an area where there was no crosswalk, when a Chevy pickup truck hit and killed him.
The State Patrol says it was dark and raining when the crash happened, and there are no street lights in that area.
