1 Dead After Medical Emergency On Long Lake

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A woman is dead after a medical emergency on a lake in the west metro Saturday evening.

According to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, authorities responded to a medical emergency at Long Lake just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate a woman at Summit Park Beach. She was eventually pronounced dead at the scene.

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is investigating. The victim's identity is not known at this time.
