MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The woman who died after a medical emergency on Long Lake Saturday has been identified.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the woman as 89-year-old Larisa Baranovskaya of Plymouth, Minnesota.
Authorities responded to a medical emergency at the lake just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday. They attempted to resuscitate Baranovskaya at Summit Park Beach, but she was eventually pronounced dead at the scene.
The medical examiner said Baranovskaya died of natural causes, not drowning.
