1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured In Head-On Crow Wing Co. Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Brainerd man is dead and another person is seriously injured after a head-on crash Thursday evening.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the fatal incident occurred on Business Highway 371 near Greenwood Street in Brainerd.
At around 6:30 p.m., a Dodge Stratus was traveling northbound on the highway while a GMC Sierra was traveling southbound in the same area. The Sierra then crossed the center line and struck the Stratus head-on.
The driver of the Stratus, a 57-year-old Brainerd man, was killed.
The driver of the Sierra, a 40-year-old Little Falls man, was seriously injured and was taken to North Memorial in Robbinsdale.
