Semi-Fire Damages Building In Meeker County

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A semi-truck fire caused damage inside a business in Meeker County Thursday afternoon.

According to the county sheriff's office, crews were summoned to the 23000 block of Minnesota Highway 22 at about 3:30 p.m.

An employee inside the property reported the fire. The building was being used for storage.

The sheriff's office said that the semi was declared a total loss, and the building and its contents also sustained some damage.

No one was hurt in the fire.

The Litchfield Rescue Squad and Grove City Fire Department also helped the Litchfield Fire Department and the Meeker County Sheriff's Office with the efforts.
