4 Things To Know: Death Investigation, End Of Rio Olympics

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here's a look at the four things you need to know for Monday, Aug. 22, 2016.

Number One: Zachary Anderson Expected In Court

The 25-year-old suspected in the murder and kidnapping of his co-worker's 5-year-old daughter.

Anderson, of Coon Rapids, is being held in the Crow Wing County Jail in the death of Alayna Ertl.

She was reported missing from her home in Watkins Saturday morning.

Nine hours later, authorities found her body in a swampy area near Anderson's cabin in Cass County.

Number Two: Obama Back From Vacation

President Barack Obama is back in Washington following a 16-day family vacation on Martha's Vineyard.

The president has come under fire from some Republicans for not cutting his trip short to tour flood-ravaged Louisiana.

Obama will travel to the state on Monday to see the devastation first hand.

Number Three: The End Of The Rio Olympics

The summer Olympics in Rio have finally come to a close.

Four-time gold medalist Simone Biles carried the American flag during Sunday night's closing ceremonies.

Team USA earned 121 medals -- 46 of them gold.

Minnesota Lynx Olympians will land in the Twin Cities Monday night, coming home with the gold.

Number Four: Best Buy's Tech Home

Because it's Best Buy's 50th anniversary, the company is giving public tours of a high-tech home at Mall of America.

The display is basically a home run by technology. There's a smart fridge, smart lighting system and smart home security.

You can check it out starting at 10 a.m. Monday. Tours will be offered through Sept. 17.
