Suspicious Package Found Downtown Deemed Benign

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A downtown Minneapolis intersection was closed Tuesday morning as Minneapolis police investigated a suspicious package.

The package was found in the area of Hennepin Avenue South and 7th Street South. The intersection was closed to traffic for about an hour.

The package was later deemed safe by police.
